Jaguar’s second addition to their R-S line will be unveiled at the LA Auto Show on November 28 at 2:30 EST. The Jaguar XFR-S will be designed to compete with the BMW M5, and the Mercedes E63 AMG.
Though Jaguar hasn’t said anything about the XFR-S drivetrain, we expect the XFR-S will produce 550 HP via a supercharged V-8. The same set-up powers the other R-S badged Jaguar, the XKR-S.
We expect the XFR-S to be priced over $90,000 base price. Of course, Jaguar will likely include a number of options like carbon fiber trim pieces, and bigger wheels that will easily propel the XFR-S into the triple digits price wise.
We don’t expect this to be the last R-S model, as Jaguar’s F-type is simply begging for the R-S badge. Though we aren’t sure when the F-type R-S will be announced, we’re sure it’s only a matter of time before a third monster is added to the Jaguar performance lineup.
