Top Car Working on Porsche 991

Russian tuning firm, Top Car is building what looks to be a very special Porsche 991 Carrera to be released in April. Top Car is building new body pieces for the Porsche out of carbon fiber and Kevlar, formed via a vacuum seal process.

Body modifications include fender flairs to accommodate meatier tires, a new front bumper with intakes to cool the front breaks, and a reworked front hood. A new rear bumper is also being built with a rear splitter, and a new quad exhaust layout. The car will be fitted with 20” ADV1 wheels.

Top Car is teaming up with Porsche power specialists, 9ff to modify the powertrain. The Porsche 991 produces 350 hp and reaches 60 mph in 4.5 seconds stock. So it will be interesting to see what 9ff, a company known for getting big numbers out of Porsche engines, will do to the 3.8 liter flat six. We’ll update you with more information as it becomes available the closer it gets to April.
